Job Description:

• Delivering services, consulting, and crisis support to families, children, youth, and caregivers in a variety of situations will be the candidate’s responsibility.

• To comprehend current issues, historical occurrences, and details pertaining to a child’s background and Indigenous culture, the applicant will examine MCFD records. They will then create and carry out strategies that support children, youth, and families in establishing connections with their extended family and community.
• In collaboration with the Team Leader, the candidate must quickly gather and apply pertinent data to create plans for crisis stabilization and strategy development.

• The candidate will be in charge of assisting kids and families by making sure that kids’ opinions are taken into account and that information is given in a way that is appropriate for their developmental stage and culture.

Requirements for CYFSS Worker Jobs in Canada:

• A bachelor’s degree in social work or child and youth care is required of the applicant.
• A bachelor’s degree in human services is required of the applicant.
