Job Description:

  • The candidate will be in charge of managing several employees by allocating tasks, creating and assessing performance plans, and granting leave requests.
  • In order to guarantee that program staff receives the entire range of administrative services, the candidate will be in charge of developing, implementing, and continuously updating the branch’s administrative framework. They will also be responsible for providing direction and resolving administrative concerns.

  • By creating, maintaining, and overseeing an ARCS/ORCS records management system, which includes record storage, retrieval, and destruction, the applicant will be in charge of overseeing all branch records and documentation.
  • By conferring with the relevant organization, such as the BC Public Service Agency, filing the necessary paperwork, and confirming information in Time on Line or CHIPS, the candidate will function as the branch’s principal administrative resource for human resources, payroll, and leave management.
  • In addition to recommending purchases and organizing the installation of personal computers, software, phones, fax machines, and related equipment, the candidate will assess the requirement for furniture, equipment, and telecommunications products.
  • The candidate will coordinate office relocations, place orders as needed, keep an eye on supply, equipment, and furniture inventory levels, and collaborate with facilities management personnel on space planning, building maintenance services, and lodging needs.
  • As the branch’s systems contact, the candidate must handle user access requests, assign user IDs, and fix common system problems.
  • Using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, the candidate will supervise the creation of reports, spreadsheets, briefing notes, and other documents. They will also create answers to regular mail.
