  • In order to support new construction projects for the Manager/Project Manager, the candidate will be in charge of investigating prior construction projects and providing analysis of pertinent data.
  • The candidate will be in charge of keeping an eye on construction schedules, safety protocols, quality and quantity control methods, contract document compliance, and contract modifications.
  • The candidate will be in charge of comparing estimated and actual field amounts and making any necessary adjustments to payment certificates.
  • In addition to preparing correspondence under the supervision of the Manager/Project Manager, the candidate will be in charge of handling and resolving conflicts or disagreements between the Region and contractors, consultants, municipalities, agencies, developers, and property owners/residents on assigned projects.
  • Writing letters to contractors and material suppliers on the acceptance or rejection of materials will be the candidate’s responsibility.
  • In order to assist the accomplishment of Branch and Department goals, the candidate will be in charge of carrying out additional tasks.
  • When called upon by the Departmental Emergency Plan, the candidate must be able to respond to emergencies outside of usual business hours.
